Youth from American Samoa bought smiles to children at Campus of Hope in Apia, over the easter weekend.

Campus of Hope is where victims from families affected by domestic violence and abuse are sheltered. The campus received a special visit from Bishop Tuinei and the Pava’iai Third Ward Youth of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

The Pava’ia’i Youth made the trip to the Campus with the objective of connecting with the children and imparting the message of Easter – the death and resurrection of Christ.

The youth group organized games, engaged in prayers with the children and shared lunch with them.

Samoa Victims Support Group President Silioniu Lina Chang said, “The message of hope and love takes on a more significant meaning. The Pava’ia’i Youth’s visit to the Campus of Hope serves as a testament to this message, and we hope their actions will inspire others to share the message of Christ’s resurrection and the power of love.”
