
It’s been confirmed that, last week, Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga sent his nomination to the Senate of another member of the Board of the American Samoa Medical Center, or LBJ Hospital.
A March 16 letter, from the Governor to the Senate President, nominated Dr. Victor Tofaeono to replace Dr. Malouamaua Tuiolosega, whose term expired on March 3rd.
Dr. Tofeaono used to serve on the LBJ Board and is a retired former chief surgeon at the hospital.
His nomination is expected to be introduced in the Senate, this week.
