Attorney Terry Van Eaton has been nominated to replace and continue the term of Jason Mitchell on the Board of the American Samoa Economic Development Authority (ASEDA). Van Eaton is with the Office of the Governor Legal Counsel, having joined last year.
He recently served as Director of Compliance with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Before that, he worked in the Nebraska Department of Revenue handling tax disputes and litigation.
Van Eaton, a former journalist, is to fill the remainder of, former Chief Counsel to the Governor, Jason Mitchell’s term on the board of ASEDA which expires June 30, 2023.
During the auditing and ethics workshop hosted by the Territorial Audit Office, he was one of the facilitators.
