The LBJ Hospital has recorded another COVID-related death. A 73-year-old man who passed away yesterday, is the 19th COVID-related fatality in American Samoa. The man was fully vaccinated but did not have a booster shot.
An update on tomorrow’s Hawaiian Airlines flight: 262 travelers have registered on TalofaPass for the flight. 277 have been cleared with 20 pending.
The chairman of the COVID-19 Task Force, Lt. Governor Talauega Eleasalo Ale, made known at Task Force meeting that after the three scheduled flights in May, Hawaiian Airlines will operate a weekly flight beginning in June.
