BlueSky has launched the territory’s first digital eSIM activation service.
An eSIM is an electronic or embedded, SIM. Instead of a physical card, SIM technology is built right into your phone. It eliminates the need for a physical SIM card and instead allows you to activate your compatible device on your Bluesky network by downloading an eSIM profile.
Benefits includes having 2 or more phone numbers on a single device as well as reducing our plastic footprint and being more environmentally friendly.
BlueSky says this advanced mobile telecom service allows eSIM-compatible smartphone owners, such as those with the latest Apple iPhone devices, to sign up for Bluesky’s prepaid or superior capped Mobile plans.
You can visit BlueSky’s retail store at the Laufou Shopping Center or kiosk by the Fagatogo Marketplace to download and activate the eSIM profile.
Current or prospective mobile subscribers can also digitally sign up through the Bluesky eCommerce website at www.bluesky.as.
