The House of Representatives has approved by unanimous vote three members of the American Samoa Board of Teacher Certification .
They are Mrs Evelyn Lilio Satele, Vaitinasa Dr Salu Hunkin-Finau and Mrs Saouli Kava.
The board is tasked with reviewing and approving teacher certification which is required under the statute which sets salaries for teachers.
The board has been dormant for more than a decade. The three nominees have already been confirmed by the Senate.
