The American Samoa Community College is pushing Covid vaccinations for students during registration for the fall semester.
The college is offering a waiver of registration fees and chances to win raffle prizes to students who’ve received their Covid shots.
Director of UCEDD (University Center for Excellence and Developmental Disabilities) at ASCC Tafaimamao Tupuola says the college is setting a trend.

And here are some important dates from ASCC for returning and new students
ASCC Admissions Night is Monday, Aug 9 from 5 to 7 pm in the multipurpose complex
Please bring all necessary documents needed to complete ASCC Admissions and Financial Aid applications.
The Fall placement test is Aug 11 and 12 8:00 am to 1 pm in the Lecture Hall. The fee is $10
Late Placement test is on Aug 13, 8:00AM & 1:00Pm also in the Lecture Hall. The fee is $20.
Please bring a valid picture ID, two pencils and a mask.
