
Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga has appointed Tuasivi John Marsh as Acting Commissioner of the Office of Financial Institutions, OFI, effective immediately.
OFI is a division of the Department of Treasury which was established during the Lolo and Lemanu Administration to regulate and monitor banks, money transfer agencies, money lenders and other such businesses.
The first Commissioner for OFI was Robert Ho Chee.
Mr Marsh, a former local manager of Bank of Hawaii has been with OFI since it opened.
