If you have an unpaid bill with the American Samoa Telecommunications Authority you’d better pay up before June 23rd.
ASTCA had suspended disconnection of services for those with unpaid bills for 90 days as part of its COVID-19, “We are here for you,” community outreach program.
With the Governor’s recently amended Executive Order on COVID-19, however, ASTCA is now notifying customers that it will resume its normal billing and disconnection cycle, beginning 8:00 on June 23.
Disconnection will occur on that day for all services past due 30, 60 and
90 days for all internet, landline, and exchange services.
ASTCA says, “We are grateful that we were able to help our community during the initial uncertainty and phases of the coronavirus pandemic.”
