A young man accused of throwing rocks at an ambulance that was taking a patient to the hospital is back in jail after District Court Judge Elvis Patea revoked his probation.
Reggie Va’avale failed to report to the Probation Office, violating a condition of his probation and the court issued a warrant for his arrest.
Police found him in a fight at the Fagatogo market and took him into custody.
District Court Judge Patea revoked Vaavale’s was probation and sentenced him to serve the remainder of his jail term that had been suspended in lieu of probation.
Vaavale will serve 102 days in jail.
