Residents are now able to acquire medical equipment at no cost with funding from Medicaid to provde durable medical equipment for American Samoa.
These include hospital beds, wheelchairs, crutches,walkers and other equipment.
All that’s needed is a medical prescription which can be obtained from community health centers in Tafuna, Leone, Amouli and Manu’a or at the LBJ Hospital.
