If you filed your taxes between March 8th and 23rd , waiting for your tax refund may be over tomorrow.
Treasurer Ueligitone Tonumaipe’a sent out a notice today that $1.3 million in tax refund checks will be released tomorrow.
Additional Child Tax Credit refunds total $797,291 and local refunds amount to $558,502.
Batch No. 9 includes checks for those who filed between March 8 and March 23rd.
Treasurer Tonumaipe’a says the release of refunds is based on the date of tax filing.
With $1.3 million in refunds out tomorrow, one can expect crowds at the banks, stores and restaurants.
Tomorrow is also when more than 800 participants of the Summer Youth Employment Program are to receive their first paychecks.
The checks will cover the first three weeks that the participants have been working in ASG offices and also the private sector.
