
The first night time Hawaiian Air flight since the Instrument Landing System at Pago Pago International Airport was fixed, will be tonight.
Night time flights were discontinued in May because the ILS at Tafuna needed repairs and for safety reasons Hawaiian Air changed to early morning arrivals from Honolulu.
Hawaiian Air operated its last morning flight from Honolulu this morning.
And the airline has a second flight this evening, arriving here at 9:30 pm and returning to Honolulu at 11pm.
One of the effects of Hawaiian Air’s morning flights when schools were in was the heavier than usual traffic into town.
