Neil’s Ace Home Center continues to make good on matching public donations as it has for the past 6 years in its partnership with the American Samoa Cancer Coalition.
For the holiday season, Ace shoppers were invited to donate for the Coalition, with the family owned hardware store in Malaeimi matching the total proceeds.
Fundraising started November 23rd and ended Christmas Eve.
Customer donations tallied $8,263.75 and Ace matched the amount dollar for dollar for a grand total of $16,527.50.
It’s the largest amount that the store has donated since it began the Ace Angels tradition six years ago.
Neil’s Home Center CEO and President Ngaire Scratch Ho Ching, Store Manager Nadine Solofa Taufaasau and Sales Manager Vaipuna Tia presented the check to Coalition Chairperson Rochelle Reid and Board member Iki Scanlan.
According to Store Manager Taufaasau, the cumulative sum of Ace donations to the Coalition to date is over $50,000.
Ace thanks its customers for their generous donations.
