The deadline for residents to apply for micro grants from the Department of Agriculture is March 23rd.
The grants which are for $5,000 are intended to improve food security. Residents can qualify for small scale gardening, livestock and herding, poultry production ad aquaculture projects.
Director of Agriculture Daniel Helshem said application forms can be picked up at the Department of Agriculture Office in Tafuna or their offices in Ofu and Ta’u.
