A memo issued Thursday by Acting Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. grants ASG employees involved in Flag Day sports activities two hours of paid time off daily, if these activities occur during normal working hours.
This includes practice time for sports related to Flag Day.
Pulumataala said he and Governor Pula strongly encourage ASG employees to take part in this year’s Flag Day celebration, especially as we build momentum toward America’s 250th anniversary.
Affected employee are to coordinate in advance with their immediate supervisors to ensure that normal government operations are not interrupted by their absence.
Departments are responsible for documenting time used by participating employees.
Fautasi practice is in full swing and the cricket competition is also underway.
