The Utah Army National Guard has taken on the recruiting mission that was previously under the jurisdiction of the Hawaii Army National Guard.
A team from the Utah Army National Guard is visiting the territory to promote opportunities for American Samoans in the Army National Guard as a whole.
The Army National Guard has two representatives permanently based in the territory with 2nd Lt. Scotland Elisara and Sgt First Class Joseph Ioane. Their office is at the Tradewinds Hotel.
Lt Col Adam Ashworth talked about educational benefits that the US Army National Guard offers.
