There’s a further delay in the release of the 2025 Individual Tax Form 390.

As announced Wednesday by Acting Treasurer Brett Butler the delay is due to “required tax credit changes coordinated with federal authorities.”

Butler had told a  recent House hearing that there are additional benefits under the Additional Child Tax Credit that local wage earners are eligible for and Treasury was finalizing the details with the feds before issuing the forms.

The tax forms are usually available in early January and an earlier announcement from Treasury said that the form would be released in late January.

“We recognize the timing challenges during filing season, but these changes are vital,” said the Acting Treasurer in Wednesday’s notice.

He  said that once discussions conclude a future notice will advise when the form will be released.  He also said that a new tax filing deadline will be announced.
