ASPA pays up, ASCC and LBJ Hospital owe ASGERF

On Thursday, the Chair of the House Retirement Committee, Rep. Trude Ledoux-Sunia, on Thursday reported on unpaid contributions of the ASG semi-autonomous agencies to the American Samoa Government Employees Retirement Fund (ASGERF).

According to information provided to by the Retirement Office, the American Samoa Power Authority is current with its contributions.

However, the American Samoa Community College and LBJ Hospital.  The college owes $1,286,920.60 in employer contributions and $255,521.63 in employee contributions.

The LBJ Hospital owes $321,810 in employer contributions and $137,733 in employee contributions.

These amounts are separate from the $21.7 million that ASG owes to the ASGERF.
