The Hot Meal program for senior citizens, which was suspended for three months because vendors had not been paid, resumed Wednesday. All of the vendors are reported to have received payments last week.
The Territorial Administration on Aging Office announced that the hot meals will be served Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at the designated TAOA vendors.
These are Shan J in Malaeimi, Night Hawk Iliili, Emelio’s, Pago Pago, the CCCAS Hall in Fagaitua, and Aunuu.
The Hot Meal Program returns to its normal schedule next week, with the west side receiving hot meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the east side receiving meals on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
