science-symposium-winners-2025

The Department of Education has announced the winners of the High School Science Symposium held December 5.

The Science Symposium is a STEAM program that encourages students to conduct original research in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

A total of 32 students submitted research papers, which were reviewed by off-island scientists and university faculty. They selected the top 10 finalists to present on symposium day before local judges. Because some entries were tied, a total of 16 students made the finalists list, and all presented their papers at the symposium.
