The House of Representatives has approved three of the four new members of the Board fo Directors of the American Samoa Power Authority.
Talaimalo Marcellus Uiagalalei was confirmed by a vote of 14-1, Talaalemalo Tasi Mauga was approved by a vote of 11-4 and Douglas Buhr was confirmed by a vote of 14-1. Six representatives were absent during Friday’s session.
The three have already been confirmed by the Senate.
The fourth board member, Folasa Galeai, who resides in Hawaii, was unable to attend the confirmation hearings.
