Construction of the new ICU, Emergency Room and MRI building for the LBJ Hospital should begin in the summer.
The Arizona company that’s designing the three story building has completed the design development phase and is now preparing the construction documents.
The company GLHN, which stands for Grigsby, Lynch, Harwell and Nelson, is also overseeing an upgrade of the hospital’s generator plant.
A five member team from the company was onsite this past week.
Company representative Miguel Camacho spoke with KHJ News about what they accomplished while on island.
