The stage is set for the World Cup Oceania qualifiers in the Under 18 Woman’s Softball and Men’s Softball.
The first off island team to arrive is the Under 18 Women’s Team from New Zealand which was welcomed Thursday.
The New Zealanders are staying at Airport Inn.
The Australia Women’s team arrive Friday and will be staying at the Tradewinds Hotel.
An opening ceremony is set for 1pm Sunday at the Tony Solaita Baseball Field and there will be three games that day between American Samoa, New Zealand and Australia. The Women’s competition ends on Tuesday, and the Men’s tournament will be from the 9th to the 1th between teams from New Zealand, Australia and American Samoa.
The public is invited to cheer on the teams at the Tony Solaita field during the qualifiers.
