The Senate Government Operations Committee was scheduled to question the President of South Pacific Insurance Corporation, Mathew Wade concerning the insurance policy for the $10 million investment of the ARPA interest fund on Thursday.
However, Committee Chairman Senator Togiola Tulafono informed the committee that Mr Wade is currently off-island.
The company’s attorney has conveyed that Mr. Wade is willing to answer the Committee’s questions via a video conference.
Togiola said that the IT Division of the Fono will set up a video conference link with Mr. Wade and the Committee will have a chance to question him next Tuesday morning.
