The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Administration (USDA FNA) has approved the Department of Human and Social Services’ request to issue a one-time, end-of-year (EOY) benefit for 2026.
DHSS Director Panisia Neueli says with this approval, in addition to their regular monthly benefits, each ASNAP participant will receive on Sept 1., an additional $110 loaded onto their EBT card.
EOY benefits are funded through ASNAP’s unspent funds from the current Federal Fiscal Year. All ASNAP benefits, including the $110 EOY benefit, will expire at 11:59 pm on September 30, 2026. Therefore, all ASNAP participants must use all your benefits before midnight on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Director Neueli thanks USDA FNA Western Regional Administrator Dr. Muzafar Makhdoomi, Grants Management and Administrative Services Director Terry Gunnell, and their colleagues at the national and regional levels for their continued support of ASNAP.
She also extends her fa’amālo and fa’afetai tele to Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula and Lieutenant Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae, Jr. for their unwavering support of DHSS and its Programs.
