The first baby for 2026 was a healthy 7 pound 15 ounce baby girl. She was born at 6:24 am on New Year’s Day.
Another baby girl was born at 9:50 am and she tipped the scales at 8 lbs 10 ounces.
The third baby for the first of the year was a boy, a 7 pounder who arrived at 4:12 pm.
And the final baby delivered on New Year’s Day was a girl who arrived at 7:01 pm and she was the heaviest of them all: 9 lbs 13 ounces.
All babies and their moms spent a day or 2 at the LBJ Maternity Ward before going home.
