The Department of Public Safety begins its holiday enforcement this evening.

As announced earlier by Commissioner of Public Safety Taaga Saite Moliga there will be roadblocks to check on  drivers who are under the influence and they will move around depending on where traffic is heavy.

The last weekend before Christmas is usually when offices have their Christmas and end of year parties.

The Commissioner has called for the public’s cooperation in keeping this festive season safe  and accident free.

The DPS holiday enforcement ends January 3, 2026.
