On Tuesday the Lealaifuaneva Peter E. Reid Charitable Foundation donated $88,000 to the Diocese of Samoa-Pago Pago to assist schools and Hope House.
Presenting the generous donation to Bishop Kolio Tumauvao Etuale were granddaughters of Lealaifuaneva, Cecelia Reid-Wendt and Victoria Reid and two great granddaughters Pualena and Onalani.
- $60,000 to Hope House for renovations to the chapel
- $10,000 to Faasao Marist High School for a security system, bell system and emergency sirens
- $8,000 for St Theresa Elementary School for a security system and printers
- $10,000 for Hope House Montessori for repairs to restrooms and playgrounds
Cecilia Reid-Wendt spoke on behalf of Foundation President Olivia Reid-Ielome to thank Bishop Kolio for the services that the Diocese provides for the territory and said they are happy to continue the tradition of giving that her grandfather started.

Bishop Kolio said the Diocese has benefitted immensely from the generosity of Lealaifuaneva and is indeed grateful that his children and grandchildren are continuing his legacy of giving.
