
Participants of the American Samoa Nutrition Assistance Program will receive 65% of food stamp benefits instead of 50% as announced earlier.
The Department of Human and Social Services received new information late Wednesday that the federal government has approved the higher food stamp benefits for the month of November.
- Participants who normally receive a maximum of $177 will be issued $115.00
- Participants who normally receive a maximum of $149, will be issued $97.00
- Participants who normally receive a maximum of $127, will be issued $83.00
- Participants who normally receive a maximum of $109, will be issued $71.00
- Participants who normally receive a maximum of $94, will be issued $61.00
