Customs agents discovered crystal methamphetamine during inspection of a box at the Pago Pago Post Office Tuesday afternoon.
It’s believed that the substance weighed close to one pound.
Customs has turned over the case to the Department of Public Safety for investigation.
A man in his 30s who went to the Post Office to pick up the box was taken in for questioning after the discovery.
