The American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency (AS-EPA) has relaunched its website, www.asepa.gov, developed to enhance public accessibility to critical environmental data, updates, and community resources.
The new website allows users to streamline navigation in finding the resources they need, ensuring a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. This includes support features that facilitate faster assistance, such as easy-to-find contact information, a page to report violators, and updates regarding past, ongoing, and future projects.
Users can now swiftly navigate through various sections, whether they are looking for the latest in project updates, public notices, or sending a request for an educational outreach.
There’s also information on the different divisions and programs within the agency, along with the various responsibilities they undertake to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Furthermore, the website features a section where the public can report any environmental violations, ranging from illegal dumping to pesticide misuse, among others.
AS-EPA Director Edna Asalele Noga said, “Effective communication is essential in our profession, particularly with the community. We are dedicated to collaborating with the community at all levels to ensure they are informed about our activities and aware of the services we offer for their benefit. The newly designed website of the AS-EPA provides extensive information on how we can collaborate with the public to create a resilient community and a sustainable future.”
