Ambulances were bringing in sick patients, and medical tents were set up at Fagaalu Park to triage and treat them.

This was part of a two-day exercise to test the readiness of the Department of Health, LBJ Hospital, and other agencies to respond to an infectious disease surge. The command post for the exercise was in Tafuna, and patients were taken to the Fagaalu Park site.

LBJ CEO Scott Anesi was among medical personnel awaiting patients at Fagaalu Park.
