New members appointed to Health Services Regulatory Board

Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula has appointed new members to the Health Services Regulatory Board, which oversees health services and practitioners in the territory.

Appointed for three-year terms are Dr. Saipale Fuimaono and Dr. Evelyn Faaiuaso.

Appointed for two-year terms are Dr. Lois Phillips-Pula, Dr. Robin Faumuina-Vasai, and Margaret Sesepasara.

Members appointed for one-year terms are Dr. Abraham Leiato, Dr. Leute Leota, and Sandra Ho Ching.

The board has jurisdiction over the practice of medicine, dentistry, nursing; the treatment of the sick or injured; the prevention of disease; and all training and education related to the medical field.
