Am Samoa captures 9 medals after 2 days at Pacific Mini Games

Team American Samoa at the Pacific Mini Games in Palau has won nine medals after two days of competition: two golds, four silver, and three bronze medals—all courtesy of our wrestlers.

Atonio Miller won gold in the 110 kg Greco-Roman Wrestling, and the second gold was won earned by Zelan Falealii in the 130 kg Greco-Roman wrestling.

Amo Loe won two silver medals—one in the Freestyle Wrestling 97 kg and another in the Greco Wrestling 97 kg.

The other two silver medals were won by Latana Sopa in the Free Style Wrestling 86 kg and Zelan Falealii in the Freestyle Wrestling 125 kg.

The three bronze medals were won by Amo Loe in the Freestyle Wrestling 86 kg, Cameron Sopa in the Freestyle Wrestling 97 kg, and Victor Stanley in the Greco-Roman Wrestling 80 kg.

In softball, our women’s softball team won their first game against Micronesia, 17-1.
