2025 Polynesian Hall of Fame Football Camp

More than 200 elementary and high school football players turned up for the Polynesian Hall of Fame Football Camp at the Veterans Memorial Stadium on Tuesday. NFL legends Seiuli Jesse Sapolu, Maa Tanuvasa, and Reno Mahe led the one-day camp.

Lt. Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. thanked the Polynesian Hall of Fame for investing their time and efforts in holding the camp and encourage the players to make use of the opportunity.

Before the players got on the field, they heard inspirational messages from Tanuvasa, Mahe, and Sapolu on how football shaped their lives and blessed their families. Sapolu shared a phrase that defined the success of his San Francisco 49ers team.

Maa Tanuvasa, who helped his team Denver broncos to two Super Bowl victories, has been coming here since 2007, beginning with the June Jones Foundation Football Camp and Medical Mission.

The group headed to Samoa Wednesday to hold a camp there before continuing on to Australia for the same purpose.
