Last year, NFL star Juju Smith-Schuster was in the territory for the Polynesian Hall of Fame football camp.

The camp returns to the territory next week, led by co-founders of the Polynesian Hall of Fame/Polynesia Bowl, Seiuli Jesse Sapolu and Maa Tanuvasa, along with Reno Mahe.

Moana Purcell, who is helping coordinate the camp, says the group arrives Monday night, June 30, and the camp takes place Tuesday, July 1, at the Veterans Memorial Stadium.

It is open to elementary and high school football players. The Department of Education is coordinating the participation of local players,

This will be a one-day camp from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., before the Polynesian Bowl team heads to Samoa on Wednesday to conduct a camp there.
