Former Deputy Chief of Customs, Iuliano Falaniko, now heads the Customs Division as Chief of Customs. This has been confirmed by Treasurer Donald Kruse.
This coming September will mark Falaniko’s 27th year with the Customs Division of Treasury. He started as a Customs Officer 1 in 1999 and then moved to the Canine Unit as a canine enforcement officer in 2003.
At the end of 2018, he was promoted to Deputy Chief of Customs, a position he held until he was appointed last month by the Treasurer as Chief of Customs.
