Close to 500 children, ages 3 to 13, are attending a first-time event of its kind in the territory—the Kids for Christ Conference.
This free, three-day event is specifically for children and is taking place at Lions Park. Huge colorful cut outs of Bible figures greeted the children, with lots of animal figures roaming the park. Young adults and parents organizing the event were dressed in costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere. Participants were divided into five groups according to their ages, with activities that include Bible stories, sports, worship, and sharing.
The main organizer, Mrs. Lagi Frazer Faamatala, said the vision for the Kids for Christ conference was revealed through prayer.

The Kids for Christ Conference runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will continue Thursday, concluding on Friday.
