
The Department of Human and Social Services will begin issuing Summer EBT benefits Monday, June 16 for all public schools and 8 private schools whose data has been verified by the Department of Education.
The benefits will be issued in the form of food coupons with a value of $177 per child.
DHSS will distribute the benefits from 11am to 6pm Monday to Friday except on holidays and the distribution will be by alphabetical order based on the surname of the student’s parent or legal guardian. (See distribution schedule below)
The private schools that are cleared to receive the benefits are:
- Fa’asao-Marist High School
- Fatuoaiga Montessori
- Iakina Adventist Academy
- Kanana Fou High School
- Marist Saint Francis
- Pacific Horizons School
- South Pacific International Christian Center School and
- St. Theresa Elementary School
DHSS says as of Wednesday data for 6 private schools are still pending.
As soon as ASDOE verifies the information for these six (6) schools, DHSS will issue an update on the release of their S-EBT benefits. These schools are:
- Kanana Fou Elementary
- Peteli Academy
- Manumalo Academy
- Samoa Baptist Academy
- Mary the Mother Montessori and South Pacific Academy
Data for students of all public schools have already been verified by ASDOE.
Only the individual listed as the primary parent or legal guardian in the student’s school record can pick up the S-EBT food coupons for their child(ren). The primary parent or legal guardian must show a valid Government-issued photo identification (ID) card and the name on that ID card must match the name listed as the primary parent in the 2024-2025 student record ASDOE
verified.
The last day to pick up S-EBT benefits is August 29, 2025. All S-EBT benefits or food coupons expire on December 29, 2025
