Eight out of 18 graduates of PHS receive ASG scholarships

Eight of the 18 graduates of Pacific Horizons School have been awarded ASG scholarships. Six are off-island scholarships and two are for study at the American Samoa Community College. The scholarship recipients signed their letters of award with the ASG Scholarship Committee on May 27.

The recipients are:

Amelie Chen studying electrical and environmental engineering at Harvard University,
Thomas Jones majoring in computer science at Georgetown University
Daniel Lee studying computer science at Harvard University
Aneseta Zhang majoring in health science at University La Verne
Ersi Tang majoring in business at Indiana university
Aleah Hong studying international relations at George Mason University

The two recipients of the local scholarships are Jezrell Cartier who will be studying architecture and Tamalii Snow, majoring in civil engineering.
