Lt. Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. was discharged from Queens Hospital on Monday.
“I’m in good shape and I’m ready to come home,” he told KHJ News by phone yesterday.
The Lt. Governor said he is booked on Thursday night’s Hawaiian Airlines flight and is looking forward to returning home and continuing his duties.
He said he has been overwhelmed by the number of visitors he has received while at the hospital, as well as messages of well wishes from American Samoa, Hawaii, and the mainland.
Pulumataala said he was admitted to Queen’s Hospital last Wednesday.
