Reigning Miss American Samoa, Angelfromheaven Pauliana Felise Vitale, says every minute of her reign has been worthwhile and exciting. She adds that the biggest reward has been the opportunity to serve the community.
She has maintained a strong presence in the community, attending government ceremonies and public events, promoting education to the youth, and mingling with students across Tutuila and Manu’a. She was with the American Samoa delegation to the Pacific Arts festival in Honolulu last year and was second runner-up in the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.
Earlier this year, she participated in the Samoa Tourism Exchange. And who could forget her stirring rendition of The Star Spangled Banner at the flag-raising ceremony in Fagatogo on April 17? Indeed, she has made her mark.
