Several members of the House of Representatives were seated in tents on the malae.

Elder Faapito Auapaau of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who delivered the invocation, gave an inspirational message about sowing seeds of unity, love, and faith, and being true followers of Christ. He noted the erosion of traditional values, as evident in exchanges on social media, where respect between family members, matai, and leaders is often lost.

An Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft performed a flyover of the stadium, which Brigadier General Alan Matney of the Pacific Air Force said was a tribute to the honored tradition of military service of the people of American Samoa.

The pass in review was led by DPS, with the Navy and Marine Bands, JROTC units, schools, sports teams, government departments, and businesses participating. StarKist Samoa was the largest group in the parade. Governor Pulaalii and Lt. Governor Pulumataala stood throughout the parade, waving at the marchers.

Just before 11 a.m., the entertainment by the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa got underway. They were followed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with the final group to perform being the Methodist Church.
