Continuing our report of the payouts for political appointees of the former administration for unused annual and sick leave, here are payouts of members of the cabinet, other than those that were mentioned in our first report.
Director of the Resilience Office Amaamalele Tofaeono was paid $19,672.
Secretary of Samoan Affairs Mauga Tasi Asuega’s payout was $17,737.
Director of Commerce Petti Matila was paid $17,334.
Seven directors received payouts of $17,330: Director of Homeland Security Samana Semo Ve’ave’a, Budget Director Catherine Saelua, KVZK-TV Director Solomona Aoelua, Medicaid Director Sandra King Young, Commissioner of Public Safety Lefiti Pese, Election Commissioner Dr. Lealofi Uiagalelei and Director of Health Tuileama Nua.
Director of the Office of Property Management Poleen Asalele was paid $16,310, and Director of Parks and Recreation Kenneth Tupua’s payout was $16,023.
The Director of EPA Faamao Asalele Jr.’s payment was $15,705, Director of OPAD Peter Tinitali was paid $15,659, Director of Education Dr. Samasoni Asaeli’s payout was $13,864, Director of the Department of Corrections Semu Tauanuu collected $11,553 and Director of the ARPA Office Keith Gebauer received $11,463.
Afalava Eliki Director of Administrative Services was paid $10,957, Public Works Director Faleosina Voight collected $10,435, Acting Director of Human Resources Max Tuitele received a payment of $8,854 and Public Defender Asaua Fuimaono’s payout was $7,365.
Director of Port Administration Falenaoti Loi-On Fruean was paid $7,293, Administrative Law Judge Marie Alailima’s payment was $6,294, Director of the Territorial Energy Office Misipati Salanoa was paid $4,659, and the Director of Search and Rescue Save Liuato Tuitele received $4,258.
