Pula & Pulu Camp posts Campaign Financial Report online

The Pula and Pulu Camp collected a total of $485,152.95 in campaign contributions. The Hope2024 Campaign Financial report has been posted online on the Pula and Pulu website: hope2024.com

“Throughout this campaign we have vowed to uphold the highest standards of integrity, ensuring that every supporter can trust in our stewardship of their contributions,” says an introduction to the report. “By making this information publicly available, we reaffirm our promise to run a transparent campaign that puts the people of American Samoa first.”

According to the report, both Pula Nikolao Pula and Pulu Ae Ae Jr., donated $92,000 each to the campaign chest.

A GoFundMe account collected $30,303, Po siva donations raked in $70,546, and kick off donations brought in $70,546. Contributions in cash and checks amounted to $182,355.

According to the Pula and Pulu campaign, finance report expenditures totaled $465,330. The biggest expense was Advertising, Media & Marketing which totaled $212,250; followed by travel expenses of $64,601; and the third highest expense was Meals and Drinks, totaling $50,962.

The camp still has outstanding payables of $82,732. The top three unpaid expenses are for Advertising, Media and Marketing totaling $50,024, unpaid travel expenses total $12,095 and meals and drinks amount to $10,716.

The report lists dates that donations were made and other than the candidates, who are named with their $92,000 contributions, all others are listed as individuals or business. The money raised from po siva of the different villages and district committees are also listed.
