A man wanted in connection with a 2016 child molestation case in the territory has been extradited from Alaska.

Barry Aileone arrived in the territory, Monday night, accompanied by two officers of the Criminal Investigations Division who had traveled to Alaska to escort him here.

It’s alleged that between March 6 and March 19 of 2016, Aileone engaged in sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse, with a minor.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in April of 2022, however, it’s believed that he had already fled the territory at that time.

Aileone was behind bars in Anchorage, Alaska for an assault case.

He made his initial appearance in District Court, Tuesday afternoon.
