With Hawaiian Airlines’ plans to increase weekly flights on the Honolulu Pago Pago route to three next year, the airline is taking a look at its local workforce.
No changes are expected at this time with the operations of the airline’s local office, in the face of news last week that the airline plans to eliminate 73 people from its 1,400 non-contract workers in Hawaii and on the mainland.
KHJ News asked Hawaiian Airlines CEO Joe Sprague in an interview, Friday, about the possibility of increasing their local staff with the added flights starting in February next year.
