
The new Miss American Samoa, 25-year-old, Pauliana AngelfromHeaven Felise Vitale wants to use her reign to spotlight mental health and youth issues.
Pauliana, sponsored by Interplan Inc., was raised by two sets of parents—the late Paulo Felise and Mrs. Suni Felise, and the late Moamoanalua Ino and Mrs. Palu Vitale.
She attended Manumalo Academy before moving to Hawaii where she graduated from James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Historical and Political Studies with a minor in English from Chaminade University.
Pauliana also won five of the seven pageant categories: Sarong, Siva Samoa, Talent and Best Stage Interview.

Penicia Hunkin Pene
First runner up was Penicia Hunkin Pene, sponsored by Point of Beginning Professionals/Two Occasions Eleis and Designs.
Penicia also won Miss Photogenic and Best Tradition Inspired Wear.

Francine Iopu Masoe
Second runner up was Francine Iopu Masoe sponsored by Intersections Inc. Francine also won best Pre-Pageant interview, the MASI Award and Miss Personality.

Destiny Lauvao
The third runner up was Destiny Lauvao sponsored by Melvina Couture, Family and Friends. And the fourth runner up was Jenavee Herrera, who was sponsored by Falana’i Ala and Iosefa Family.

Before the results were announced, former Miss American Samoa Judy Faafetai Taunuu gave her thank you speech and performed her final siva.
