The Samoa Commercial Bank has announced that their small loan requests can now be submitted online.
In a statement, SCB said customers just have to register with the bank’s internet banking, or mobile app, to access the online loan application portal.
According to Managing Director Lemalu Ray Ah Liki, a total of 16,878 small personal loan applications were processed by the Bank in 2023.
He said these clients had to come to the bank to fill out the loan form for a new loan or top-up, but with this online initiative, customers will have better, hassle-free and convenient access when applying for a small personal loan.
Lemalu added that people’s financial needs can arise unexpectedly, and having a quick and convenient way to access loans is essential.
“Tests have been done thoroughly to ensure the platform is safe and secure for our customers.”
